I like that bit about how 97% of scientists believe in anthropogenic global warming while 72% of media outlets exhibit skepticism.

What this suggests, with a 99.8% probability level, is that the so-called “news media” are engaging in witting and/or unwitting propaganda.

And this indicates one of the key issues for those of us who are trying to alter ecocidal course. Most people simply don’t understand how dire and immediate and urgent this crisis/emergency is. Because the media and our politicians rank it so low in importance.

    That has to change. Fast.

The climate emergency response movement MUST target this problem as core, as central, as urgent. Now.

Yes, this is a CRISIS. We need to take all appropriate action NOW. And that includes refusing to allow the Keystone XL pipeline.

A source of information on “refusing to allow the Keystone XL pipeline” and other ecocidal travesties can be found in the Deep Green Resistance, movement and book. http://www.deepgreenresistance.org/ .

A new documentary film, “Greedy Lying Bastards,” is being released in select cities this weekend.

It’s about the misinformation / propadanda campaign which managed to cause a rather horrible, long delay in taking this urgent matter with any seriousness. I hope it is a good one, and that it helps to wake more people up!
