If you haven’t seen How to Boil a Frog yet, you’re missing one of the most unique documentaries out there about the issues of peak oil, climate change and economic crisis. Filmmaker Jon Cooksey is an American-Canadian national gem. We hope we don’t have to split him down the middle King Solomon-style, but that we can continue to enjoy his cross-border blend of Texan humor and British Columbian good sense as we muddle through the transition to the lower-tech and more local economy of tomorrow.
If you’re reading this, then you’re probably already aware enough to jump out of the pot before the water starts to boil. But Cooksey’s film will give you the inspiration to spread the word to others and to get more active yourself — to “make trouble” as Cooksey puts it.
